Nethercutt and his wife, Dorothy, the collection is a result of a lifetime dedicated to a love of beauty in design.  Tours of the Nethercutt Collection are personally conducted and require two hours.  The Nethercutt Collection and Museum request that all visitors dress conservative (no jeans or shorts please).  Children under 12 years of age are not permitted.  Lunch will be on our own between tours.

We'll start our day at Mrs. Knott's Chicken Restaurant for lunch.  At 2:00pm we'll enjoy a self-guided audio tour at the Bowers Museum of Cultural Arts.  We will see 14 of China's ancient soldiers - the largest exhibit seen outside of China.  The Terra Cotta Warriors, Guardians of China's First Emperor Qin Sin Huang, not only included fighters but also court officials, entertainers and animals.  Over 8,000 figures were once buried to protect and serve the emperor in the afterlife.  We will spend up to two hours at the museum before returning home.  Package includes transportation, lunch, museum admission and audio tour.
