TOPS is a group of individuals that meet on Wednesdays from 6-7:30 pm, at the Rancho Cucamonga Senior Center. The common purpose is to lose weight safely. At TOPS, everyone has different hopes and dreams, different health conditions and weight loss goals. TOPS helps people meet their individual needs through group support. The Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County Food Bank, along with the City of Rancho Cucamonga, distributes surplus food on the first Monday of every month to eligible residents at Central Park, 11200 Base Line Rd. Eligibility is based on income and residency. Distribution begins at 11:00 a.m. on a first come, first served basis. There is a homebound delivery program for the physically disabled. This program is an 8-hour course and is taught in two 4-hour sessions at the Rancho Cucamonga Senior Center. It is especially designed for motorists 50 years of age and better. After completion of the class, participants will receive a certificate issued by the DMV that enables one to apply for an insurance discount. Blood Pressure Tests are held on Fridays from 10 am-12 pm, at the Rancho Cucamonga Senior Center. No appointments are necessary. Participants will be served on a first come, first served basis. For more information, call the Rancho Cucamonga Senior Center at 909-477-2780.

Massages may improve your circulation, ease muscle aches, relieve tension, improve flexibility and promote relaxation. Appointments will take place at the Rancho Cucamonga Senior Center on Thursdays from 10 am-1 pm. Massages are $10 per 15-minute sessions. For over 25 years the Community Senior Services, a non-profit agency, has provided much needed support for seniors and their families in the community. The Senior Companion Program is one of nine services/programs offered. This program is designed to assist seniors in their homes by providing transportation, grocery shopping, community information and companionship. If you are 60 years or better, live on a limited income, would like to earn some extra money and become involved in your community, this program is for you. DAAS assists individuals with senior information and assistance, senior employment, family caregiver supportresources and referrals, age related concerns and adult protective services. DAAS offers FREE private sessions every 3rd Thursday of the month from 11 am-1 pm, at the Rancho Cucamonga Senior Center. This is a unique gasoline-pumping program to assist Rancho Cucamonga seniors aged 60 and better. Nine Rancho Cucamonga service stations have agreed to participate to provide attendant gas pumping for seniors at self-service prices. FREE health assessments are held on the second Tuesday of every month from 9 am-12 pm, at the Rancho Cucamonga Senior Center. Assessments are conducted by nurses from the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health and include the following: health history, pulse, blood pressure, height, weight, hemoglobin and blood sugar. Counseling and referrals are also available. No appointments are necessary. Participants will be served on a first come, first served basis. The Oldtimers Foundation provides seniors with an on-going home maintenance service. Services include minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs. For more information, call the Oldtimers Foundation at 909-822-4493.

The City of Rancho Cucamonga has implemented a new program called LINK. Volunteers keep in touch via telephone with ill, lonely and homebound seniors aged 60 years or better. The City of Rancho Cucamonga has teamed with the Rancho Cucamonga Family YMCA to provide a free transportation program for Rancho Cucamonga seniors. A 15-passenger para transit bus provides two round trips to and from the Rancho Cucamonga Senior Center Monday through Friday.
