**EXCITING OPPORTUNITY!!
The Rancho Cucamonga City Council invites individuals to apply to serve on the Park and Recreation Commission. The Commission serves as an advisory body to the City Council concerning park/community center development and operations, as well as cultural/performing arts, youth, sports, senior citizens, human services adn wellness programs. Applicants must be a resident of Rancho Cucamogna and at least 18 years of age. Applications may be obtained at the City Clerk's Office, 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, or call (909) 477-2700. Click here to download the application and supplemental.

Antonio Karraa
Chair
The City Council appointed Antonio to serve on the Commission in August 2003 and he has since been reappointed.. Antonio has worked in the Parks and Recreation field for over 20 years and is currently serving as the Park Services Manager for the City of Anaheim. He continues to use his expertise, along with his fellow Commissioners, to develop quality parks and recreation programs in the City. Antonio and his family have lived in Rancho Cucamonga for over ten years and are actively involved in the community. |

Francisco Oaxaca
Vice Chair
Appointed in July 2006, Francisco is the newest Commissioner to come on board. Francisco and his wife have raised their three children in Rancho Cucamonga and have been City residents nearly 20 years. Francisco was appointed to serve as Metrolink's Manager of Media and External Communications in 2001 and has worked for Metrolink since 1993. In addition, he has received an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Southern California and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Redlands. The Commission is pleased to welcome Francisco as their newest member. |

Martin Dickey
Commissioner
Martin has served on the Commission since
1998 and has lived in the community for more than 30 years.
He is a graduate of Alta Loma High School, Chaffey College and Cal State University Fullerton where he earned his B.A. Martin is currently in graduate school. Commissioner Dickey has worked in law enforcement for over 25 years. In his spare time, Martin enjoys volunteering his time and expertise to the City's Community Theater Program,
in addition to coaching youth sports, hiking and camping. |
