2007 Founders Festival
‘A Circus Celebration’
The City of Rancho Cucamonga’s 2007 Founders Festival was a great success! On Saturday, November 10, 2007 over 6,500 community members lined the streets of Victoria Gardens to kick off the festivities with the annual community parade. This year’s parade was filled with over 150 entries consisting of: local marching bands and cheerleading squads, community groups dressed to fit the ‘Circus Celebration’ theme, elaborate floats and high flying oversized circus balloons! Following the parade attendants made their way to the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center Bank of America Imagination Courtyard anxiously waiting the announcing of the parade winners. In honor of
The City of Rancho Cucamonga’s 30th Birthday Celebration the Bank of America Imagination Courtyard was filled with lots of FREE activities and attractions for the whole family to enjoy. Community members joined along while parade participant Joanna led in singing Happy Birthday to The City and celebratory cupcakes where given out throughout the entire event! Founders Festivities concluded at 2:00pm, just in time for community members to fill into the Lewis Family Playhouse for an afternoon showing of Cirque Voila!
Check out all some of the excitement that we had this year and be sure to check back for all the fun that we are planning for next year!
