In February 2003, David Parker was appointed to the Community Foundation. As parent of children who have grown up in Rancho Cucamonga, David has a very special interest in programs and activities that enhance the lives of its residents. He serves as a Team Leader for the local Target Store. Dave's high level of energy and commitment to serving his community are a valued asset to the Board.

Tony Mize
Vice Chair

Tony Mize was appointed to the Community Foundation in July, 2000. Tony's community involvement include serving on the following Boards and Committees: Small Business Development Center, Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity Board; Inland Empire Economic Partnership and National Housing Conference. He is also enrolled as a Member of the Osage and Quapaw Native American tribes. Tony's experience in fundraising and the real estate industry are assets he brings to the Foundation Board of Directors.

Charles J. Buquet

Chuck lives and works in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. He was appointed to the Community Foundation when the Board reorganized in May 1999. His previous City experience includes serving as a City Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem and Charter Member of the Rancho Cucamonga Citizen's Advisory Commission. He has also served on the R.C. Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as Chamber President and on numerous regional public boards and commissions. Chuck owns his own business providing government relations, development liaisons and risk management services for a number of public and private sector clients.

Harvey D. Cohen, M.D.
Member

Dr. Cohen was appointed to the Community Foundation in May 2001. He has been active in the community for over 20 years. His strong belief in community involvement is evident by his development of the "The Doctor is In" monthly senior lectures at the Rancho Cucamonga Senior Center, volunteering for the Adult Protective Services/Multi Disciplinary team and participation in thyroid awareness lectures and activities. Dr. Cohen has a medical practice in the community where he specializes in Geriatric Medicine and Endocrinology.

Thomas was recently appointed by the City Council to serve on the Board of Directors.  He is looking forward to working with his colleagues on the PAL Campaign and other Foundation projects.

Lupe is the newest Member appointed to the Board of Directors.  She looks forward to assisting her Boardmembers with their fundraising goals.
