Thomas Galindo
Chair
Thomas lives in Rancho Cucamonga with his wife and three children who attend the local schools. He has lived in the Inland Empire for 27 years and has been a resident of Rancho Cucamonga for the last 7 years. Thomas has worked 20 years in the financial service industry and earned his BS in Electrical Engineering Technology from Cal Poly Pomona and his MBA from the University of Southern California (USC). He is also a CFA charterholder from the CFA Institute. The City Council appointed Thomas to serve on the Board of Directors in June 2007 and he now serves as Chairman. |

Taro Barag
Member
Taro was appointed by the City Council in January 2010. She is a co-owner of two local busineses and volunteers at the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center as a Friend of the Playhouse. In addition to her Foundation membership, Taro also serves on the Virginia Dare Property Owner's Association. |

Linda Bryan
Secretary/Treasurer
Linda has lived in Rancho Cucamonga for many years. She studied Theater Arts at Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire and performed in many productions. After raising two sons with her husband, she is focused on community service and was appointed to the Community Foundation Board in December of 2008. Linda also serves as the Fundraising Chair for the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care and Adoption Center and as the group leader for the local Military Family Support Group. In the past, she has also served on Committees for Foothill Family Shelter and Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. |

Charles J. Buquet
Member
Chuck lives and works in Rancho Cucamonga. He was appointed to the Community Foundation in May 1999. His previous City experience includes serving as a City Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem and Charter Member and Chairman of the Rancho Cucamonga Citizen's Advisory Commission. He has also served on the R.C. Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as Chamber President and on numerous regional public boards and commissions. Chuck owns his own business, Charles Joseph Associates, which is a consulting firm providing government relations, development liaison and risk management services for a number of public and private sector clients. He is also a Minority Owner of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, an Angels high Class A farm team, and serves on their Board of Directors. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Red Hill Country Club, which is located in Rancho Cucamonga, and is also the Club Membership Chairman.

Harvey D. Cohen, M.D.
Vice Chair
Dr. Cohen was appointed to the Community Foundation in May 2001. He has been active in the community for over 20 years. His strong belief in community involvement is evident by his development of the "The Doctor is In" monthly senior lectures at the James L. Brulte Senior Center, volunteering for the Adult Protective Services/Multi Disciplinary team and participation in thyroid awareness lectures and activities. Dr. Cohen is the co-founder and Medical Director of the Senior Evaluation (SEP) Program at Casa Colina Hospital. He also has a medical practice in Rancho Cucamonga. Dr. Cohen is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine along with a specialty in Endocrinology.

Brad Firle
Member
Brad is an 18 year resident of Rancho Cucamonga and was appointed to the Foundation in December 2008. His experince in the mortgage business serving on fundraising and community relations projects are assets he brings to the Board of Directors. Brad is excited to serve on the Board raising funds for the advancement of the arts in the community.

Paul Gesiriech
Member
Paul is the Board's newest member and was appointed in June 2010. He serves as a financial advisor and is an avid fan of all types of live theatrical performances from classical to contemporary.

Jim Harrington
Member
Jim became a member of the Board in October 2009. He has an MBA, CPA and is also involved in local financial leadership organizations. Jim has a passion for supporting arts in the community and is a supporter of the Lewis Family Playhouse.

Jeremy Kahn
Member
Jeremy's appointment to the Board occured in January 2010. He is a Cal State LA graduate and is in the banking industry. Jeremy is involved in various volunteer efforts including serving as a Member of the National Ski Patrol.

Richard Madsen
Member
Richard joined the Foundation in January 2010. He is employed in the corporate banking field and his educational background includes an MBA. Richard is also affliiated with The Children's Fund and Boy Scouts of America where he serves as a Member.

Tony Mize
Member
Tony is one of the Board's longest standing members and was appointed to the Community Foundation in July 2000. Tony's community involvement includes serving on the Small Business Development Center, Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity Advisory Board; Inland Empire Economic Partnership and National Housing Conference. He is also enrolled as a Member of the Osage and Quapaw Native American tribes. Tony's experience in fundraising and the real estate industry are assets he brings to the Foundation Board of Directors. |
